Career Development Plan
Each fellow must complete a Personal Career Development Plan. The plan is to help you identify short-term and long-term goals, which will allow you to target your training and other activities towards attaining these goals. The template contains guidance notes on how to complete the plan. Please read these notes before filling in your plan.
The plan should be submitted to the Executive Board for approval in the first two months of your training.
For ESRs, the plan should be reviewed and updated mid-way through your fellowship, and again in the last year of your training. Each update must be submitted to the Executive Board for approval.
Inter-sectorial Secondments
Each project includes a mandatory inter-sectorial secondment, for a duration of 2 weeks up to 3 months. This will expose the fellow to a different working environment and different approaches to solving problems.
The secondment will be arranged in consultation with supervisors and second supervisors, and the industrial partners. In addition to improving the researcher’s skill set, the secondment will maximise the synergy between the industrial activity and the individual project of the researcher.

Second Supervisors and short exchange visits
In order to further broaden their field of expertise and to promote information exchange among participants, the ESRs will have to develop complementary skills within another research group, with a second advisor or collaborator, chosen from another institution of the consortium, with complementary expertise. The role of the second advisor will be to provide complementary training skills and act as a discussion partner, following closely and contributing to the project’s progress.
In addition to finding a second supervisor, researchers are encouraged to organise short exchange visits to other labs within the DoDyNet project, as well as visits to labs external to DoDyNet. These visits will serve to diversify and improve the knowledge and skills of the researcher, and will also serve to disseminate information in both directions through-out the network.
Deliverables
All researchers are expected to submit 2 or 3 deliverables (reports) over the course of their project. Each ESR received at the beginning of his engagement a table summarizing the deliverables related to his work. These are only guidelines - the reports should be in line with your project as defined in your PCDP, and should be discussed and decided upon with the help of your supervisor. For deliverables that are due after you finish your project, you will need to submit them before you finish.

During the course of the project, you will be required to acknowledge the Marie Curie Actions as a source of funding when presenting/publishing results or filing patents:
- For publications:

Researcher Representation
During the DoDyNet project, ESRs will elect 2 fellows to represent them. These representatives will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the fellows, and will also represent the fellows to the Governing Board.
